Electric charging

A list of Virši fuel stations, where charging is available, can be found on the Virši website, by selecting electric vehicle charging in the filter. Currently, electric vehicle charging is available at 10 fuel stations of Virši network, where 9 charging services are provided by the CSDD e-mobi network, and the first Virši power charging station is located in Krustpils fuel station.

*Please note that in the CSDD e-mobi network, charging is per minute, not per the loaded amount of energy.

About electric vehicle charging at Virši power charging station in Krustpils: 

• With the Charge & Go  app (Android and IOS) 
• With the mobile payment system Mobilly (Android and IOS) 
• With the SNABB  (Android and IOS)

You can pay for electric vehicle charging at Virši charging stations, which were created in cooperation with CSDD, in the following ways: 

• If an e-mobi agreement has been concluded, then using the e-mobi app (Android and IOS) or using an e-mobi authentication card
• With the mobile payment system Mobilly (Android and IOS) 
• By scanning the QR code and using the mobile website be.ENERGISED COMMUNITY
• With e-mobi partner charging cards and apps

The following plugs are available at electric vehicle charging stations created in cooperation with CSDD: 

• 50 kW CCS 2 plug
• 50 kW CHAdeMO plug 
• 22 kW Type 2 AC plug

*Only one car can be charged at a time. 

The following plugs are available at Virši Krustpils charging station: 

• 80 kW CCS 2 plug 
• 2 x 40 kW CCS 2 plug 
• 40 kW CHAdeMO plug 

*If charging with 40 KW, 2 cars can be charged at a time. 

It is important to know what type of plug is suitable for your car. If Type 2 and CCS 2 plugs are available at the charging station, it is necessary to check how the payment is made. If the charge is per minute, then the CCS 2 plug will most likely be able to charge more in 10 minutes. 
If the charge is per kWh, then often the price per kWh will be cheaper for smaller power plugs, so if there is no rush, you can charge for cheaper, reducing the overall cost of the trip. 
 

If there are any problems with the station or payment while charging, there is a contact number on the charging station that you can call. For CSDD e-mobi stations it is available 24/7. The contact number for payment service providers is also provided. 
If there are any problems at Virši Krustpils charging station, you can also approach the fuel station employees. 

By the second quarter of 2024, at least 28 charging points with a charging power of at least 150 kW will be installed. This network expansion takes place in cooperation with the support of the European Union (EU) Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility, AFIF. The exact locations of the charging stations have not yet been revealed, but they will be located in the territories of Virši fuel station and further information will be provided soon. Virši also plans to expand its network beyond its fuel stations by building charging stations together with its partners and customers.
