Energy commodities trader and convenience store network AS VIRŠI-A (hereinafter – Virši) is opening a full-service location in Olaine (“Ievalti”, Jaunolaine, Olaine Municipality) opposite the existing Virši service station. This is an important step to make such facilities more accessible not only to Olaine residents, but also to drivers for whom this is an important route in their daily lives.
“We are actively following the daily habits of drivers and the development of road infrastructure to ensure that we have geographical coverage where our customers need them the most. This will be the 73rd Virši service station, thus continuing our progress towards the Company's strategic goal of ensuring coverage of at least 80 service stations across Latvia by the end of 2024,” says Jānis Vība, Chairman of the Board of Virši.
The newly opened location in Olaine will be open 24 hours a day and will offer automatic refuelling, the most popular types of fuel (95 and 98 petrol, diesel), dispensable windscreen fluid, as well as a wide range of drinks, snacks and car products in the adjacent Virši store.
To further strengthen its market position, in autumn this year Virši commenced construction of a full-service site in Sigulda, where a Virši electric vehicle charging point will also be installed. The opening is planned in spring 2024. Meanwhile, an energy-efficient location meeting new standards will be opened in Sarkandaugava, Tvaika iela 3, at the end of November. Another service station will open in Čiekurkalns at the end of the year on Viskaļu iela, welcoming customers with a modern design and a full range of services and products.
